We’re working on chess this morning after the wife found a free chess set at a garage sale. My 4yo has been begging to learn and he’s finally sitting still enough to learn how to move pieces.

I had just previously ripped open the kingside castle with a pin, and the (slightly, but nevertheless) higher ranked player gave me the mate instead of flagging on time.

“Easter photo,” April 12, 2020. . . . . Nacho found my photo lighting gear in the closet today and wanted his portrait taken. We had to run to the grocery store for batteries, set up the flash stands, and get into his “Easter clothes,” only for me to remember that my #sonya7ii was at the office. We scrambled to my office. Missed the best light by a few minutes. I’m holding my @mpex_photo_video Lumopro 180, flash sync, and umbrella in my left hand, camera in my right.
